You may (or may not) have noticed that most, if not all, the books on this blog are self-published. As a writer myself, I have a particular interest in this market. Some have been so good I've had to double check they weren't in mainstream publishing, and some... well, let's just say they could do with a little TLC in the story, grammar and punctuation department.
I am an undergraduate student, while also setting up a freelance editing business, so reading for leisure is not something I have a lot of time for, but... I do enjoy reading in whatever spare time I have. My reviews are my own opinion. So while I might shower it with praise, another reader may not, and vice versa with books I don't enjoy and might not be able to finish.
